Cheers fellas, thanks for the kind comments, still to sand/stain and finish the back panel so i will get some pics of the amp mounted and the control panel then,no access to

a camera at the moment.

Hey Alan only needed to take 2 of the braces out to get the amp into the cab,thinking of maybe brass "corner protectors"not unlike the kind found on the ornate

jewlery/blanket boxes imported from Malayasia or India?as the standard amp corners are more rounded where as this amps corners are quite sqaure

Will be posting a build log with pics for the Esquire in the DIY Guitars section,quite happy about the way that turned out as well.

Have you built the box in such a way that you can rout the edges with a 1/2" roundover bit? (without buggering up the bit?)

the cabinet wasnt built by me i just sanded the old paint job back to bear wood and am in the process of finishing ,1 coat of sanding sealer so far.the thickness of the ply that its made of would not be enough to attack the corners with a 1/2 inch router bit and maybe it might weaken the join.cheers
