Very nice cdog, is that based on the ruby amp with a tube? eg the ruby tuby?

Thanks bro... I don't know much about the ruby... this started on the breadboard as a way to use up some parts I had. It's very similar to a basic dual triode fender preamp stage I saw in a book, with a bunch of filtering going into an LM386. I had built a couple of tube overdrives before so had an idea of what I could get away with at 12VDC... the 12AU7A gets quite dirty on the starved plate, but sounds kinda cool too. Simple and cheap :)
