Well, it's officially begun. Hopefully I will get some more time in the workshop before winter! Perhaps I should set a deadline... gearfest in the Tron anyone?

What speakers are you gonna use?

Thanks JeremyB!
Crowbgood1: a pair of Jensen P10R's. They've been gathering dust for far too long!

Looking for some speaker cloth at the moment. Anyone got an offcut gathering dust?

Re: 2x10 Speaker Cab Build
I have a bit you'd be welcome to have. It's the Marshall 'salt & pepper' kind. Not sure if it will big enough for your needs, but if you let me know the dimensions I'll measure it next time I'm near it.DarcyPerry wrote:Looking for some speaker cloth at the moment. Around 400mm by 600mm should be fine. Small box... I'm packing those speakers in tight. You still got my number?

You might just be in luck. You'll want a bit extra though, to wrap around the baffle and staple on the inside, yeah? Yep, still got your number. I can measure for you on Friday arvo.DarcyPerry wrote:Around 400mm by 600mm should be fine. Small box... I'm packing those speakers in tight. You still got my number?

As you can see there is plenty for my cab! Well, at least in one direction. It's going to look awesome.
