man I wish I had the patience to make stuff like this, shit my finished cab would look like your "dummy" cab. I would so love to build an amp one day, but i'd probably end up killing myself

Ha I feel ya! My woodworking skills are zilch. Dummy Cab was pushing boundaries for me. Amp building not so hard! I'd recommend kits. I didn't and it was a PITA at times. Ryan and the internet helped heaps.
Just do your research and dive in. Lots of DIY and only 1 shock so far!

Haha cheers. That Redfern tranny weighs more than the rest of the amp put together.
Solid stuff. Thanks again for the info on the other thread. I'm a terrible procrastinator
and being busy isn't helping.

Will post an update as soon as it's done.

I humbly accept Sir. Been an awesome journey. Pedals stashed. Just guitars through amps. Bliss.

I'm a terrible procrastinator
when it comes to amp work, if it makes you feel any better; i am probably much worse a procrastinator. four years i have been threatening to take my amp to Ryan, but never get around to it, or doing any of the stuff i planned to do myself. being winter and too budget to turn the heater on, i am not actually playing so often anyway. Popsicle fingers. still not got around to applying for my GAS fund i mentioned having a few weeks ago. must be a bored with guitaring phase. one time it lasted a few years, but usually just a few months before i get back in it. threads like this help with lack of GAS and guitar related interests. the other thing is money :)
