So at work we had about 300mm of warm white LED strip lighting left over from putting in a customers strip LED.

I figured I'd make use of it.

It's supposed to be 12v. But it runs on a 9v battery as well so I figure, why not a 9v wall wart..


I talked to Ryan at amp shop to see how it would work inside my amp.

So I broke open a spare 9v 1000mA wall wart..

And hard wired the 230v side to the amps standby switch and the LED strip to the 9v side.

Here is the result :)

thats cool...but can you see anything coming through the front of the amp??

I used a wall wart to run a computer case fan in my amp for cooling the OT when it was running hard on a load box. Did not want to draw power from the amp itself, because thought it might affect something.
