Reverb tank needed
A few years ago I generously gave someone on this forum a spare reverb tank that I had lying around, because they needed one. The time has come for me to ask if anybody could possibly return that favour, or at least sell me one cheaply. Ideally 235mm x 85mm, 3 spring, but anything will do. It's for a repair. Please.

Re: Reverb tank needed
I have two spares, but I'll need to check what they are. From memory they're both two-springs though.

Awesome, that would be ideal, seeing as how I'm pretty sure it was you I gave my old one to. 2 Spring will be OK if that's all I can get. Beggars choosers etc.

If that doesn't pan out Sooty I've got one you can have, it's an Accutronics 8S3EB3C1B

Re: Reverb tank needed
I have three spring accutronics I took out of a Fender Acoustasonic Junior.
8EB2C1B I think is the model.
Took it out cause my amp was humming and one of the supposed causes is the reverb tank.
Well, new one is in and the amp still hums so don't think that was it.

Ha, as luck would have it, that's exactly the amp I'm working on! Any chance I could have that one?vintage52 wrote:I have three spring accutronics I took out of a Fender Acoustasonic Junior.

Re: Reverb tank needed
Cam, you ideally need a pan that has the optimum input and output impedance on the pan transducers in order for the reverb to work efficiently. Look to see if the existing pan has a make and model number stamped on it. bob-fields on trade me sells new Belton/Accutronics pans (he usually has most types of models).
