Alanis Morissette was the best looking God I have seen though.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

This is getting so near to completion I can taste it.

I ended up asking Ryan to wire up the amp for me (a kit set from Mojo because I have a dealer account there :D) and I am super glad I did because it is effing glorious. He added a few handy mods and did a way tidier job than I ever could of. I can also see that he payed a great deal off attention to the details evidenced by the small things like the super tidy packaging it came back in and the neat wiring inside.

Here is the sum of this evenings work

Just have to tidy up the speaker cabinet section + baffle, choose some colors and start on the finishing of it.

The wife is going to get the speaker grill on so dont need to worry about that.

Such a great idea.
A sure cure for seasickness is to sit under a tree.

Nice one, Do you have any pics of the front of the cabinet prior to you stripping it? Please post if you have.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Thanks fellas.

Bender - The mods where practical changes like a standby switch rather than an off/on and a switch for the negative feed back loop etc.

JVPP - Here is a picture of what it looked like when I found it

Cool. A shame to lose the original facia though. Would've been cool to keep it relatively original looking

To be honest I have only had it in action for about 30 minutes and only flicked it once to see what it did.

It seemed to get rid of some external interferance and tame the treble a little. I was enjoying the added life so flicked it back.

Ryan can probably tell you more. Looks like an easy mod if you want to try it in yours .

I've got a 3 way NFB switch on my amp, it's a subtle change but supposed to add some more clean headroom :)
