Danny's Swart Spacetone. Wonderful amp that finally taught me I can't live with little speakers.Molly wrote:Like that. What is it?Slowy wrote:
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

This is the EL34 triode connection mod, in my VOX Night Train 50.
In this case, the G1 grid stopper resistors can be replaced by 100Ohm ones, instead of the original 5.6KOhm.

An old 1973 Jansen Bass 25 carcass that I built a goosed-up* '65 supro t-bolt circuit into last year
Chassis finished by tubeswell, on Flickr

Blues-Meister Mk II (Pro-bolt) schematic by tubeswell, on Flickr

* normal and hot switching input jacks and a James Tone stack with 'slope' (mid hump/scoop) and 'boost' (raw/tone stack lift) switches.
Runs a 5U4G and a pair of cathode biased russkie 5881s flat out. Heyboer OT and Basil Padgett PT from my stash

Re: Show your amp's guts
This thread reminds me of my languishing amp project! Anyone got a bargain basement OT for a Champ?

I wish someone had a Fender Frontman or something to crack open and post. Would be indistinguishable from a 1980s stereo at a glace...
