Speakers placement in 2x12 cab

Post by codedog »

In my extreme senior moment I somehow got the measurements wrong. The internal measurements of this cab may be a tad small, leaving tiny space between speakers if they were to be mounted horizontally. Are there any gotchas or adverse effects if I were to mount the speakers diagonally?

Never realised what a tip my garage has become. Have hired a skip for the first week of Jan to clear out the house, and my head.

mounting them angled is fine, in fact I personally think its better as you get a slightly different sound given your ears are at different angles to each speaker

Does anyone know where I can get amp handles in NZ? I'm talking about top handles, not those side ones.

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
