Handles installed today.
316 stainless screws were heat treated to give a matte/rustic type look, then I screwed them all up and made sure that the square drives were all on the same level.... because this is my peace.

Champion work, dude. Did you simply fire the screws with a propane torch? Never heard/thought of that one...excellent attention to finishing detail  I geek on that stuff.

I get your peace...I finish all my Robertson style screws with a hand driver so the heads are squared up, too 8)

Heya, yup propane torch (ts8000) . Heated to approx 900c. Played with the thought of colors. It's hard to past the blues and purples. The colors are very controllable with propane fwiw.

Yes... that feel good OCD.

Just built a 3-way Tele plate for my Baja, all new parts so I can keep the original plate untouched and swap it back in easily.

Made a routing jig for 12 degree scarf joints, marked out the required angle on the side of the blank and made the cut on the bandsaw, tried the jig on a small piece of Paduak and it worked well so I forged ahead with the neck blank, going to do an accented scarf joint for the first time, using the bit of Paduak between the flamed Maple
