I agree Grant, a few more coats coast and the colour will fill in a bit and it'll look even better

Due today! I might need to borrow your spray rig for a couple of finishing coats on this one. Having to wet sand between each coat to get it smooth again.

I would say you need some wash coats, half and half laquer and thinners, to melt in and smooth out the finish. Wet sand and buff, it'll look great.That colour looks really good, the ash grain really pops in it and makes it look interesting.

Once you have the colour sorted, give it to James/Single Coil and he will sort out a new headstock.
