Yes. Lot of trouble to go to just because you're not sold on a guitar's colour but it's that or hard drugs.

That's looking great Brian! Did you jump straight from the 1000g to the 2000g then the 5000g? Then a fine polish? Did you find the scratches were gone after the 2000g? I hate trying to flatten out the finish!

Yes but only because it was all I had. Presently reassembling but only until I'm satisfied it's finished shrinking in. Then I'll strip it, flatten and polish it again.

Surf green can be such a bastard to photograph. These latest two photos actually look a bit blue!

I recall the same thing last time I did one this colour. At least when it looks blue it's a nice blue.

CS69s in that one Molly? Have you ever tried the Josefina fat 50s or 60s?

I had Josefina pickups in a Wildwood 60-somethin'. Don't recall them standing-out in any particular way TBH.

CS 69 in this one, yes. And the Kingtone switch. Also swapped-out the trem block for brass.

The 50s ones use formvar wire instead of enamel and they sound really great to me, way too spendy tho'...

That looks awesome. Are you happy with how its turned out - looks and sounds?

Job well done there. That aged guard sticks out a bit now against that fresh new paint job. Chuck a set of Glyns pickups in there and you'll be set!
