Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

Actually, a year ago I bought a Hello Kitty strat. It's quite cute.capt abaham wrote:seven pages and no final picture

for my 7 year old niece.
Perhaps Adrian has taken some pics of this strat he can post, I think he keeps a photo journal of his builds?
btw, regarding use of fender decals. If a guitar has some genuine fender parts all taken from one guitar, then the neck and body are Allparts licenced replacements, then in theory that could qualify it for replacement decals, perhaps. Still not sure if I'd prefer something more customized/personalized though.

surely if you want a superstrat vibe then a charvel or jackson decal are the ONLY way to go

I dunno, might just leave it blank. Ash doesn't have a decal of his own because that would perhaps be most suitable.
@Zaulkin. Pick it up after the weekend. Went with the all maple neck. Still vaguely resemble how you had it looking though. That engraved pickguard you had was cool.

Re: AR's Shredder Strat Project
Was hoping to pick this up today but can't get hold of him
I could have bought a USA strat deluxe for less than this so kind of regret it, but then again the cost of buying pups and a floyd for a strat would push up the price to way more than this custom job.
Might be in the market for a sub 1k Ibanez RG or Jackson too (providing i don't squander this money i have like usual)

Looked good. When I had the body I actually planned on putting on a maple neck and floyd, but wasn't sure if I could pull it off and be happy. Hard to explain I guess.
