Cool idea, but I think you would have to slot the holes that mount it to your guitar to allow for some adjustment, otherwise it would be nearly impossible to set your trem up so the block is in exactly the right place after changing strings or whatever. Even half a fraction of a mm one way or the other would result in an out of tune guitar.

I might give it a go though.
