I made the surrounds from rosewood. Hope to have Number 15 done this weekend!

Hey those are really nice!

The surrounds I mean, though I'm sure the pickups will be awesome too.

When I had my ASH custom made Adrian wanted to do rosewood surrounds, but I talked him out of it. Been kicking myself over that for a while now.

Which model Zhangbuckers are they? I really loved the ones I had in the sunburst Robin. They were spectacularly good sounding pickups.

these are Tyre Irons. I wanted minis for the cosmetics - on my small bodies the full size HBs look too big. But, I wanted a fat midrange...Ill know soon if it worked!

Very cool. I have a Brownbucker in the bridge of my PRS which really made that guitar come to life. Would like to get a Woodbucker for the neck.
Loving it so far

Lollar Johnny Smith, now installed on the Epiphone Emperor Regent. Way, way better than the stock pickup. Was a bit of a gamble to install a pricey pickup on a cheap(ish) guitar, no regrets.
