Ah, Sequoia, forgot the proper name.

I don't think I can handle that shape. Sort of looks like a deformed cheese board IMO. :D

(which counts for nothing anyway)

You bloody keen jp, cutting the tree and waiting for it to dry out, still leaves plenty of time to something else in the meantime. I have played the fender rosewood tele an that was very nice. Is that what you are shooting for?

Luckily the tree was cut by someone else, I just cut off some slabs. I am actually hoping to create something with a bit more acoustic vibe, hence the start on something more readily available first - macrocarpa.

But yes, a very lightweight Tele may also appeal.
