Sourcing Telecaster neck

Can someone please recommend a source of reasonably priced Tele neck? I'm not after exotic wood or compound radius, or whatever else constitute fairly fancy specs. Maple/maple or maple/rosewood, medium jumbo or taller, modern C-ish profile, fairly modern radius (9.5" minimum), truss rod adjustment somewhere accessible without removing the neck. There's probably a fairly succinct term that represents those requirements.

Suggestions please?

Taa.

Allparts are the best reasonably-priced-but-still-well-made neck, in my opinion. Their TMO-C or TRO-C should tick all the boxes. Truss rod access is at the heel not the head, though. May not be to your liking. They're a very stable neck though; I'd be surprised if you adjusted the truss-rod once a year and depending on the body you're attaching it too, it's not difficult to adjust. Can usually get them from guitarparts.co.nz for a shade over $200 (unfinished) but they're out of stock at the moment so here are some links directly to Allparts.

You're right about the truss rod adjustment thing. I think for every guitar I have only done it once at most, probably when I change to heavier gauge strings. Otherwise I have never had the need to tweak them. It's just the thought of adjust, bolt neck, string-up, set-up, not quite right, remove strings, remove neck, tweak, rinse and repeat... that makes me feel mentally drained, before I even try to do this!

I found those while looking for other stuff on guitarparts.co.nz. They've been out of stock for a while now. There are oodles of necks on fleabay but I have no idea what their quality is like, beyond a somewhat you-get-what-you-pay-for feel.

Adrian from AshCustomWorks used to have a bunch of tele necks. Not sure if he still does (I'd imagine he does though) but drop him a line and see.

That's a brilliant idea. I have just dropped him an email, assuming he still uses that same ashcustomworks.com address...

I did, and it's a negative. He pointed me to Realtone instead.

Judging by the pics on the website, their necks appear to fail your truss rod requirement?

As I just bought a squier standard tele for $200 which appears to have a perfectly ok neck on it, I have to ask: what about buying a second hand squier tele just for the neck?

That's a shame. Will have a look, cheers.

You can do a tele trussrod by removing the pickguard, just route out a channel for access and use a right angle driver :) Or pay someone to set it up for you so it's there problem

Guitar fetish clearance necks seem priced right and appear to have the truss rod adjustable without the use of power tools:

Probably don't want to push your luck with rosewood right now though eh?

I have a Squier classic vibe 50s telecaster, I want to replace the neck with a Strat maple neck with rosewood board, nothing wrong with the squier neck its real nice, just creating my own monster - if I can find a neck are you interested in my tele neck?

Thanks but I'm sorted on the neck front for now.
