Oh, and the neck is two piece, split down the middle and reversed grain. The plank was cut at about 45 degrees so the neck is now joined at 90 degrees

Re sound samples: the lace alumni tone is worth hearing. I'll try to put something together over the next few days.

So the neck blank started life as a V shape????
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

no no...
There were two planks cut from the same billet...one plank was about 140 mm wide and the other about 90 mm both with with the grain running at about 45 degrees. I split the 90 mm plank into 2 4mm0 ish strips, and reversed one of then so the gain angles were running in opposite directions...when you look down the length of the neck the 2 sets of grains are now at 90 degrees to each other. The "wings" of the body are cit from the wider plank.

Ah, yes, improving neck stability.

Man, what a slick lil beast. Sounds like you're looking into more streamlined jack options, but its still dope.

How is that Lace? Im ordering a Deathbucker for one of my sevens. I hear the clarity is awesome.

Im really quite taken with it. Clean it sounds quite acoustic. On heavy distortion it sings like a MF.
(spoiler alert) I wanted to try the singles in Number 18 but budget didnt allow so I am using Toneriders.
