Why thank you Sir. Wait until you see it all together, its not what you call a new looking guitar but every single part is new and modified in some way, well except for the body and neck, but they are still modified.

My tele doesn't have many original bits left.
Body and neck wood, tuners, switch ... string tree, ashtray bridge plate, and pickups oddly enough. But hot rails soon.

Ran into a slight issue over the weekend, just when I thought Id get this thing finished. Neck pocket is 16mm deep but neck is 27mm overall not 25mm making neck height off top of body 11mm not 9mm - so bridge saddles cant cope with the extra height dammit, mods to follow

a little shim in the neck can help tilt the neck up, so the saddles don't need to be so high - might be a good stopgap solution?

Oh my god. Please be super careful and patient when shimming.
You need one that equally covers the whole pocket, not just a wedge at the back or your neck ends up lookin like a skate ramp.

Well, after a few dramas both life and guitar related I have this thing together and with a rough setup managed to plug it in for the first time lastnight. I must say the Entwistle bridge humbucker is sweet for the price and the neck tele pickup sounds kinda Straty to me. On the whole, guitar is relatively light weight, neck feels nice, aged hardware came out better then expected and I didnt screw up the wiring! So, its final setup time and up for sale to move on to the next project, pics to follow and will be on Trademe soon......

It looks cool. I really like the look of the bleached timber on the body.
