Just looked at the MJT website. Some changes there in the way they supply necks. Might make it easier to just source that part directly from Warmoth or AllParts (I've a Tele build underway).

Nah, the neck part is still easy. The main reason you'd buy from MJT is the finish though. Not going to get that kind of thing from Warmoth or Allparts.

59 Les Paul. It's very close to the R9.

Musikraft aren't cheap but you really do get a better product. Necks make or break an otherwise good partso guitar.

I was just going through the options on their website. I can really run the bill up! Roasted maple, massive Tele neck with huge frets, yada yada. And landed it'll still bring my build in at around $1,200 by the time I've bought pickups (plus final set-up). Using a AVRI '52 body. Could be a pretty cool outcome.

My JM neck landed was around $600. No regrets.

I hate you guys. :( Now I'm thinking of a Musikraft/MJT L series Strat build......
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
