Can anyone help? White or parchment tele guard, single or 3 ply? I'll need to get a spacing size for the pole pieces on the pick ups but they were used in a LP.

I'm loving this build!!!

Is there any chance that you could screw the pickups directly into the body, so that you don't have to have the pickup surrounds?

Top mounting is a bit thing.
I like the rings. And I’m usually a staunchly not wraparound guy too, but I’m liking where this is going.

I mean like a wolfie or charvel. I think it would look quite cool like that, and easy to do. I'm really liking the bridge too. I don't think I've seen one like that on a tele before.

I like the rings so i'm sticking with them! I'm aiming for a Les Paul, Tele Custom mash up that's fairly traditional in style. I'm a very traditional old man.

So i'm all toying with the same thing in white or maybe a full white guard.

So do I and it'll probably be how it ends up, but i'm also thinking black rings, white guard hints just a little towards Flying V, Explorer territory.

OK... we need to get something straight here... although you're building this guitar for yourself... you don't get the final say on what it looks like... we do!!! hahahaha

.... How about cream coloured rings?

Chrome rings with the black pickguard would look awesome, I might even have some...
