Very nice, does it sound much different than a standard Tele with the neck?

Rough hewn charm abounds.

Doesn't sound much different to my rather crap ears :) As the neck is as thick as a log, there should be more sustain and toan though eh :D

It definitely has the snarly bite, but with a rosewood body and a bigsby it probably doesn't stand much chance of being full on tele :D

what glue to sawdust ratio do you use for filling in? I need to fill a couple of big gaps on my current build and am wanting to do a stain finish so need to have enough dust to be able to sand it to look natural

I don't make gaps mate.....

Only way is to try it out on scrap. It worked on this one in places and not in others. Lack of patience and a router biting in didn't help.
Back to the rosewood neck tomorrow if I'm feeling better!

Oh and the specs if anyone wants :
Body is rosewood or a rosewood derivative. Neck is maple and its compound radiused - not sure what I radiused it too now haha. Pickups I got from Toany, the name eludes me but they are awesome! Sperzal tuners thanks to the bender. Nut is bone, and yes its messy - proper nut files arriving in a week or so I hope. Frets from stewmac just medium ones. Trussrod is one of stewmacs low profile two ways - easy to fit. never adjusted it yet. Bigsby is a real one. Wiring is a pro kit from our very good forum friend mr tonelounge :D
