Looks like padauk body? They call it rosewood over here but it's not a rosewood species (dalbergia), it's a pterocarpus. My favourite wood to work with, smells great, works well, looks awesome.

Ok... thought this was pretty stable, but the fretboard has definitely shrank - enough in width to feel, maybe a half mm each side. Thats not an issue really but I'm a bit surprised.

With the shrinkage, I'll shave the neck back a bit - its a wee bit chunky at the moment - not quite there, making a neck means you get to experiment though :D It plays really well but with the shrink the fret ends are poking out a bit.

So it needs to be done now that its had a few weeks in the office. I presume it took a little moisture on board down in the workshop.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
