cheers fullas, I'm pretty chuffed with it. Necks settling in, needs a truss rod tweek now - I'll tweak it tomorrow and check it on monday. It is literally that thick :D

Only way is to try it out on scrap. It worked on this one in places and not in others
yeah ideally I wouldn't have gaps either but I am doing something a bit different that involves something similar to a jigsaw puzzle in a couple of places on the body...sadly my jigsaw cuts on an angle (the base has a twist) so I have ended up with gaps every where :rofl:

The rosewood neck I'm doing is solid aluminium, I think brass tubing would be cool too :)

Looking really good BG! The stained maple works well with the rosewood body! Looking forward to seeing the next one. Oh and Dr Fung says that its your turn to buy Sven a beer.
