In case anyone asks, at the moment I think that Bigsbies are just for looks but I have never had a go on one.

This build looks exciting. I love this kind of thread, as opposed to ones about pedals.

Body getting there...one patch polished out, but it went to 1200 too quick...need to backtrack to 800...sigh.

HEy Grant can you explain about the sandpaper please. Did you miss out 800 all together previously, or not do enough sanding with 800?

Yes, I'm sure thats what he meant. You really need to go through the grades to get rid of the scratches - theres no shortcuts - and sometimes you just can't tell until you move up.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Ha! I find it really hard to see you as an insecure man. :moresarc:
However, it is magnificent; a fine example of your skills. Hope it sounds as good as it looks. If it does, Dibs.

Given the Fender licensed neck, body, actual Fender bridge, pickups, controls, etc etc.... ya know...yes, I’m insecure.

I hope it sounds good too. So far it’s a completely unknown quantum. Sometimes the sum of all things don’t quite add up. We’ll see. The pedigrees of the parts give me hope.
