Cool! I opened the thread expecting it to be a β€œhow do I get fender decals” which I think of as fraud. Pleasantly surprised to see your official thing πŸ‘

Thanks man! The small decal at the end says 'original custom style ' which is funny because all the guitars I make aren't original at all! Might have to start coming up with some crazy designs.

I think a headstock decal or logo is the finishing touch. Guitars without them always scream "partscaster" to me!

Love it! But I might observe that Americans won't be able to pronounce Aotearoa much less comprehend what it means.

"Noo Zeelund? What's that and what happened to the old one?"

Or my experience of travelling in the US.

"Noo Zeelund? What state is that in?"

Back on topic, that is really cool, where do you get them from, or are you printing them yourself?

A guy in Los Angeles does them. They cost me $7 a piece which is steep for a bit of paper but they really finish the job.

I got mine done by a guy somewhere in the Waikato who makes decals for models. $1.50 a sheet and shipped locally.

I know you'll ask, and no, I can't remember his name but searching for model decal printing yielded results since a decal is a decal.

@Grant, do you have a logo or decals? Was thinking of getting one made for the Gretschecaster.

No, I've not done anything for guitars. I think Reg was looking at something for a LP junior that I built that he was considering for a while, but we didn't get any further!

How's the paint coming along?
