What do those things do? I see them on djenty style guitars and still have no idea what they are.
Bridge side of the nut you use them for tapping and sweeping to stop the other strings ringing and to make the notes of the ones you are tapping mute when you lift off :-)
You're tapping and sweep picking now? That's some impressive stuff my bro. I can make a mediocre attempt at tapping but the sweeping thing is beyond me. Any tips/ insight?
I wish! mainly I use it to stop the strings ringing out when I'm ham fisting stuff :mental:

Ouch. The intro music to that video has some ear splitting high pitched buzzing going on. Interesting video!

Not interesting, he’s suggesting that you are going to flatten the radius of the frets, which you would if you didn’t move the levelling beam across the whole fret radius- no one is stupid enough to just stay in the middle of the fretboard.

Oh he’s selling a miracle tool….

Disclaimer: he annoyed me so much with his diagram of a stupid flat fret, I didn’t watch it all
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Like the boss says, utter rubbish that diagram and his story.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.
