Kerry @ Chaoz guitars could also no doubt do it, it's just routing a neck pocket. Pretty basic stuff for a regular fender style (no neck angle).

Thanks Terry, now that's a recommendation - although not sure if it was supposed to only sound like I could do it because it was easy :crybaby:
I'm not in Auckland either, but I could supply a neck pocket template to the OP

That is assuming his neck is a standard one. Perhaps use the actual neck to make a template
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

I’ve got a neck pocket that is 1.5mm too small, and needs an angled cut. I could slowly sand it, but am not sure I’ll get it perfect.

Is the pocket too small or the neck too big?
Which one is the more expensive, neck or body? Has the body been finished?

All neck pockets have an 'angled cut' as the necks are tapered. 1.5mm is lot of sanding but you could reshape the neck bit rather than the pocket?

Routing is the way to go though...

Pocket too small. Neck fit too tight. Strings are off centre by 3mm. Neck is 12:01 o’clock, needs to be 12:00. Body has more value, sentimental, built it with my uncle. Warmoth neck. Like the questions - all the correct ones.

Yes, this would be ideal. Thanks for that! Will have the neck in mid-Jan. Keen to sort out the routing around that time. Will reach out. Cheers!
