I’m really happy with my Bosch, electronic speed control, laser sights, great depth gauge, built in clamp. What’s not to like?

Kept my old Ryobi but will use for fret pressing

if you're not drilling 50mm thick mild steel, this is the best option. No belts to change and no fucking about.

I've just bought a Bosh 'Professional' drop saw. I doubt it would survive a building site for long but it won't have to. On that basis, It's excellent.
That press of yours looks like my next purchase.

Exactly, I used pro drill presses and radial arm drill presses in engineering for years.

If you're drilling wood or steel up to 10 mm or so, it will be fantastic. No fannying around with belts that shred themselves and need tensioning is what sold me on it. After 2 months of moderate use, I have no qualms about recommending.

easy... I did the legs for my work bench with it - 19mm bit, to 75mm? can't remember the leg width now, but no trouble at all

It has a shitload of torque, I was surprised.
