Partscaster, Hohner Headless, Roland and Bellbird
Just got through knocking these up, had a bit of catching up to do demo wise.
First track is Reconsider Baby - Partscaster straight into the front of the Bellbird, touch of reverb added in the mix.
Second track is Partscaster, Hohner headless and Roland GR-30. Apart from the drums, everything is guitar. Some of it sounds a bit cheesy but I do like the sax wanking away constantly in the background, like a jazz muso you want to hit with a heavy object. Its a short clip and the ending is shit, no need to change the habit of a lifetime a few bum notes but thats the nature of guitar synths

I loved the first track alot. Is that you singing? If you had an album I'd buy it. Beutiful tone. The Bellbird is aptly named. Really brings out the bell-like qulaities of the Strat. If that amp had the reverb you add in the mix built in, I'd be seriously looking into it. Hopefully I can get the Maz to sound like that!

Re: Partscaster, Hohner Headless, Roland and Bellbird
yeah thats the voice of the Midnight Blues Band, we're working on the album
Yep reverb would be nice but its not a deal breaker for me, recording wise I have several high quality plugins and live we play in places with lots of natural reverb and if you add even more reverb on top it goes mushy, I use the behringer with just a very low amount dialed in.
Having said which, I have an urge to build a valve reverb unit along the lines of the old Fender one, I have a tank already for it, so thats a definite option
What I do love about the amp is that its so easy to get a great sound, noticed this in particular with the parts caster which has old tokai pups in it. This is why I had an attack of strat gas - hence I have two on the way! Even the EMG selects in my Hohner and Steinberger sound great!
