I like what you did there. Initially the suhr tone is ok, but when it comes back in after Tsuken I agree with alanp.
It's just Jon's choice of cab more than anything.
She told me baby when you race today just take along my love with you, and if ya knew how much I love you baby, nothin' could go wrong with you.

I actually really like Jon's tone(s) throughout (though as I said they're brighter than I would have myself).

Awesome stuff man! May I ask how you made the video? Like were you actually playing at the same time or did you have turns at adding the next bit to the track? Either way its very cool indeed!

We both had the backing track, and divided it up for soloing. I played over my sections and sent that to Jon, who then did his bit.

Oddly, at first he used Ableton Live, which had everything at a slightly different tempo from Garageband for me. Was looking like a problem until he had another crack using Garageband. Strangeness.

Some nice online jamming there.

I like the Suhr guy's clean tone, not so much the overdriven. Though that may be due to YouTube compcrapification.

I really like the quality of your videos man. What hardware do you use?

I ask because I did a couple a few years ago and had my amp plugged straight into my computer to record the sound then had my digital camera record the video. Then I had to pair the two up and it took ages to get it perfect! There must be a better way!

Cheers guys

SammyD, I just use my iMac: the built-in camera to record video, and GarageBand recording the audio. I just export from GarageBand and drag it around till it matches up. The adjustment isn't as fine as I'd like, but it usually comes out ok reasonably quickly

Man way better quality than my webcam! Guess that's what you get when you pay $20 for it and that was 4 years ago! lol
