Its a MQ3, one of the current sensing ones. Studio projects B1 mics. Amp very quiet with power soak.

Thanks jvpp, they are one of my favorite bands. When i was a kid it was the guitar solos, (baxter, becker, carlton), as i got older it was the rhythm sections (mostly purdie / rainey), and after the millenium turned it was the songwriting and and the way don made himself into a great singer despite not having a conventional singing voice.
