Thanks!

There are a couple of guitars in there - a Yamsha LS26 and an X series Martin. Using Rode NT55s into a Focusrite Forte.

It's all mic placement though, to be honest. I could get it better, but pretty good for demos.

Haven't done any solo bass stuff for a while, here's one of the last things I did (it says 2011 but it's more like last year)

"Vince, have you ever tried playing an expensive bass?" - Polarbear.
"And isn't that the finest acoustic bass guitar feedback solo you've ever heard?" - Billy Moose.

A rough demo. I think we may record this on the porch when we do it.

Some cheesy faux-jazz blues licks here, from the chubby guy on the right.

Slowly finishing up some tracks we recorded in Jan. Finished product a bit more glossy and produced than what I had in my head at the time, and definitely a lot more polished than it sounds live, but it is what it is! Couple more to go before we start on the newer stuff.

(I'm the bass player in this particular band by the way).

Come for a ride - featuring ex-Conway Vox Virage and BG's Ecstasy, no additional pedals
Fall Asleep - Strat deluxe into 1990 AC30 with Telenordia TA-100 cranked for the most part

The singer (who is also the engineer) is a big FF fan, so I guess it was always on the cards!

My band just released a new song.

Went for a slightly different vibe. Pretty happy with the result, and the video.

Mean. I only recently got into SG, had always thought it was heavier than what I'd normally listen to, but there's some great rhythmic stuff happening in there, love the riffage.

Thanks guys!

Two guitarists. Here's another video we released two weeks ago.

Recidivist - I'm not sure what amps were used, lol. Our drummer tracked the drums at his home studio/practise place. I tracked the guitars DI'd after a gig, we sent the clean guitar tracks, bass n drums off for reamping and mixing/mastering. At this point I'd have to assume it was an Axe FX.

Anthem (the clip I put up there) was done with a bias modded 5150 mkII + Axe FX 2 out front for overdrive, into an orange 4x12 cab.

Live, Vasely (other guitarist) uses a 5150 mkII. I use a Laney Ironheart head and cab. Just picked up the 60w Ironheart which I'm really happy with!

Keep it up, you have a left of centre sound, which is refreshing, and we have to flog our wares to the world somehow. That's why I'm on SoundCloud.

Here the full version of the song I put in the 1 minute challenge last year. The quiet solo is just a guide that I haven't had the chance to redo (which is why I mix it really low).....hoping I have finally found a drummer to get going with some of my songs, just need my finger to heal damn it

Been there a few times. Liking sound is what makes musicians tick so you're on a winner there, unless you want money and fame too!
