ANYWAY...
Why has my Samsung Tablet started stutering-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g when recording stuff? Does anybody have any suggestions?
I thought it might have been something with disk access contention and turned off all the apps I could and went into airplane mode.
No change.
I tried recording from much further away, no difference.
The stuttering doesn't have anything to do with levels. Tried a reboot, no change.
Any ideas? I've seen stuff on line but it's doing my head in. Anybody have a simple answer I can try?

Not sure... it worked well for ages before, but perhaps among all the various App upgrades something is suddenly sucking up more resources. Could be...sirvill wrote:Could it be the tablet doesn't have enough processing grunt?

On my Android tablet in settings > apps you can tap on an app and Stop it. You might want to try that with a number of them. Facebook is a bloated POS in my view, i've removed it from my phone.
Then you can start it after you have finished recording. Saves having to uninstall and reinstall them.

I use an app called "Clean Master" by Cheetah Mobile - free but with the usual adds, anyway it's a combination task manager & cleaning app. You can hit one button to hibernate all inactive apps to free up resources & memory.
