Mcartney 3, 2, 1

Post by StrummersOfThunder »

Watched this with my dad over the last couple of nights
Hands down one of the best music doco series I’ve seen
Im a self proclaimed Macca fan from way back.

Rubin is a really great interviewer and I loved the way they just hovered at the desk. Mcartney comes across humble and grateful and even in his later years retains huge amounts of enthusiasm to remain creative.

If you’ve not watched it , check it out

Haven't watched this but have seen many meme videos made with different music added in

Rick Rubin is an awesome dude, his podcast Tetragrammaton (available on all major platforms) is fantastic, as is the Broken Record podcast which he did with Pushkin.

Yeh I was really impressed with how he asked things. He was a nice balance of naive enquirer and expert.
And I don’t think his expressions of delight and awe were put on.
Really cool
I think I’ll watch it again some time
