Stolen 2008 Gibson Les Paul Classic Tobacco Sunburst

Hiya,
A 2008 Gibson Les Paul has been taken from an unlocked music room at New Plymouth Boys High school in New Plymouth about 6 weeks ago.
I don't know too many details, but it has had the pickups swapped out to white ones.
Brown Tobacco Sunburst.
Light Flame.
Binding on the headstock.
Crown instead of "Les Paul" on headstock.
2008 under the the "Made in USA" on back of headstock.
Black Gibson USA case with white interior.
It belonged to one of my students and he kept the paperwork and serial numbers in the case!!! Meh.

Ouch, that sucks - sorry to hear that...I feel for the lad. What also sucks is leaving expensive gear in unlocked rooms. But your student doesn't need his face rubbed in it. That Les Paul you describe will be easy to spot - esp. if it has the crown on the headstock. The binding on the headstock has got me because it doesn't look like a Custom to me.

Thanks for the wishes. We all hope it gets returned. A gutting experience for the boy as well as the school music teacher who left the room unlocked! Idgit...

This might be unique in NZ...my eyes are peeled. I doubt they will put on TM...easily spotted.
