THD Univalve Stolen in Masterton

Post by rickenbackerkid »

Hi all,

my THD Univalve head was stolen from Eqiuppers Church in masterton sometime in the past 10 days. Please keep an eye out for it, doesn’t look like I’ll be getting any insurance.

cheers,

Ben

At the risk of sounding a tool. It's pretty shabby a church called equipers won't cough for equipment stolen from thier premises when you've used it for thier benefit ~ , guts for you broseph

Mentioned in another thread, but my insurance is not covering it because it wasn’t under my supervision, i.e. it was somewhere away from my house and I wasn’t with it, and the church insurance only covers things they own.

it’s not all sorted yet, there’s a possibility that they might work something out. IN the meantime, I’m glad I bought that Blonde pedal, and anyway I’m too busy to play guitar much

I think I remember a thread about ins, was it BG said or someone said there are complications of contents ins, for ?? But the reason I am bringing this up is, I think someone else said there was some affordable ins that would cover something such as this.. sorry I cant recall the cost or what company...

But thats awful Ben... I had been thinking about when you used to be here and give me some lessons... really enjoyed that... I hope you find your amp and may a massive Church cross fall on the persons head who stole your amp..

Sad to hear this, I'd love to think your insurance will cover it, I'd be changing if not :(

I used to have one. Had a Zappa quote on the back. I think they were all different. What did yours have?

Just an update - yay for AA insurance who has paid me out a reasonable sum, and surprisingly, were excellent to deal with, once I got on to a good customer service lady. I’ve decided to steer clear of a new amp for now, and will be buying another acoustic instead.

yep, I have nothing but good to say about AA. When my MR2 was written off, I was shopping for a new car with cash in my bank 2 days later... on a saturday.
