Lots of chatter on FB about this, seems that this store has a bit of a rep for this kind of stuff.

Dodgy neighbourhood, dodgy store.

Wonder if anyone can fudge records and just empty the shop for a laugh.

Unlike all those other Cash Converters, in nice neighbourhoods, with nice stores...

i'm guessing the only way the shop has survived when all the others have folded is by less scrupulous means.Like a post nuclear cockroach.
I bought a peavey classic from that store just after the quakes.It really was like descending on thunderdome...roads got worse the closer i got to the store,window washers mobbing me at the lights,toothless methodone couple having a domestic in the CC parking lot.Linwood is a shithole.

Not as interesting as you might think, the one I went to was full of junk. Kind of figured people who pawned stuff to keep gambling had long since sold anything of any value.

This, they are oddly disappointing.
Long Beach has been good to me, as have other places around so-cal.
