Re: Room mic experimentation with the AFD100
I've always found panning far easier on mono sources. You only need one knob. Of course if you had two sources, say... I don't know... a close mic and room mic, you'd need two knobs. You could then decide if you wanted them summed in mono (in which case you'd leave them both panned to centre) or if you wanted to try sending them to different points in the stereo spectrum (for example one to the left and the other to the right). Do you like the way it sounds? No? In that case, you can try a different approach. It's called experimentation, or learning depending on how you approach it. Not sure if it's achieving what you were aiming for? In that case maybe you could play the results to some people you know and see what they think...capt abaham wrote:i`m pretty sure i`m well within the rules mate
hows the panning going? on a mono track? what happens when you pan left on a mono track? are you using some kind of software thing where it compensates for stuff?

yes such a pitty, please stay on topic, i`m waiting for Slashy to answer my honest and well thought out question regarding the state of the mono pan.

No, that was more amazement about you posting what looks like a private matter in a public forum.capt abaham wrote:it`s true bro, they tried to rip me offbadmotor wrote:WTF
