Don't know about the Tascam, but the Komplete Audio 6 is a pretty old interface. I think they've recently released new ones?

From their website, there are 2 new but lower spec'ed models coming soon. The Audio 6 seems to have been released mid-2016.bender wrote:Don't know about the Tascam, but the Komplete Audio 6 is a pretty old interface. I think they've recently released new ones?

Tough call- bus powered makes it quite limiting. I really like the Focusrite stuff. Native-Instruments make really nice gear too- I have 2 of their controllers.Conway wrote:What would you recommend Ben?

So what would be wrong be the Komplete Audio 6 being a couple of years old? The interface comes bundled with quite a package of Native-Instruments software too.bender wrote:Native-Instruments make really nice gear too- I have 2 of their controllers.

Nothing wrong at all! I just wondered if one of their newer ones might have been better (or USB-C). I really rate their stuff, so I reckon that's a good choice.Conway wrote:So what would be wrong be the Komplete Audio 6 being a couple of years old? NZRS_Dave just got a Roland interface and was raving about it, another avenue to consider!

OK cheers Ben. The new interfaces they have coming soon are still USB 2.0 by the way.

I nearly bought that myself. It would definitely cover off any future interface requirements...jeremyb wrote:I think it was this one: https://www.rockshop.co.nz/shop/edirol- ... rface.html bit over the top for your needs mind you...Conway wrote:Which one was that?
