Eastman D'Ambrosio Series

Post by codedog »

I've always wondered why Eastman had stuck with Gibson-esque models so far, and if they would venture into Fender-esque models. They answer is yes, they have just done their take!

I can't find any info other than FB so far, but I haven't looked too hard. I'm sure they'll pop up everywhere soon enough.

For some reason I can’t open that link, but my El Rey Eastman has the D’Ambrosio name on it. I think he has been designing guitars for Eastman for a while. I really like those new Romeo and Juliet models.

Yes, he has. Not sure why this series bears his name. Here's a screenshot of the FB post I linked above. Not a lot of details so far.

After all my posts on the offset thread, I actually played mule's JM (ex-Bender?) and didn't get on with that body shape. This Eastman one looks interesting and somewhat promising though! Will have to find out if Musicworks is going to bring some in.

The offset comes with Lollar goldfoils or Lollartrons! Yaaay! Looks like it also has staples P90s, but doesn't say the make/model.

MIM lacquer one... surf green with tortoiseshell guard. It was either ex-Bender, or yours. Can't remember what he said.
