ZT lunchbox

Post by lukewillasick »

I've done a bunch of reading about these amps, and looked at most of the youtube videos I think, but am wondering how much gain they have?
All the videos I've seen seem to be showing them to be pretty clean.

Not much gain if they're anything like my ZT Club but with a pedal in front of them they come alive :)

Id equate the gain to a tubescreamer on about 1/3rd gain into a really clean amp and that's with humbuckers :)

Short answer - not a lot. If you crank both the volume and the gain, with humbuckers, you'll get overdrive - surprisingly cool sounding, but pretty moderate all the same.

A ZT Club has been my only object of GAS since joining this forum. And I haven't even heard one live yet. (After a crapload of research, I've yet to read anything bad. One of the few toys I'd feel confident "buying blind" and being perfectly happy with.)
