How would people suggest packaging a 100W solid state combo amp? what courier companies are best to use for this kinda thing?
I can just see courier post charging atleast $100+
Easiest way to ship an amp?

Pick up is always best, but if someone from out of town has the nerve to bid on your auctions its probably better to use a freight company rather than just your normal courier. I think the guy that sent me my combo paid $50ish to send it from Taranaki to Auckland. I think he used Fastway, cant find the email though sorry.
Not sure about the packaging side. Somewhere like the rockshop might be able to give you a decent size box. There are a couple of guides for packing on the Harmony Central forums I think.

I just sent my old Roland 80w JC from Auckland all the way to Invergcargill.danrawkz wrote:How would people suggest packaging a 100W solid state combo amp? what courier companies are best to use for this kinda thing?

The dimensions just fit the standard post requirements and it only cost $42.00 or $47.00?
Wrapped it in heaps of bubble wrap but not so much that they could not see what it was and sent it.
reached the guy A ok and he was stoked.
Hope that helps
