Looking at running the Carvin into the Marshall 2x12 but the cable is short
not wantting to extend the hard way (well for me anyway) by remaking a cable

Re: extending speaker wire
Not really designed to carry the current it is more for signal we have them in stock
If you can't solder cut the cable in the middle and add a bit with chocolate blocks will look ugly but work

it`s because he didn't want to extend the hard wayMolly wrote:Oldie. You posted a 'female to female' link that didn't live up to its billing....
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

I need to take the back off the Marshall to check as I just shone a torch in and pulled the lead and it's about a foot short so probably 3 foot would be finesizzlingbadger wrote:Oldie, I can make you one, how long do you need it ?

Re: extending speaker wire
Oh, connecting speaker out from carvin head to the speakers in a 2x12 combo? I thought you meant a 2x12 extension cab.Olderama wrote:I need to take the back off the Marshall to check as I just shone a torch in and pulled the lead and it's about a foot short so probably 3 foot would be fine

Those george L's look the proper job if you're not into soldering.

Re: extending speaker wire
Are we talking about this kind of cable? Even all this typing seems too much effort compared to just buying one!
