Re: THE AMP SHOW
Here's my project Marshall, a Haze40 repowered with a custom Ryan 1987 heart. The faceplates are of my design & had them locally laser cut & etch. The electrical chassis my own work, sent it off as a hollow shell to be populated with iron, toobs etc... and the maestro's wiring.

Re: THE AMP SHOW
I do have a question about my last amp: should we pronounce it Dr "Zed" in NZ, or is it still a Dr "Zee"???

Re: THE AMP SHOW
I'd go Zee, because it just sounds right. Much in the way no-one should say Zed Zed Top, regardless of how "z" is pronounced locally.Conway wrote:I do have a question about my last amp: should we pronounce it Dr "Zed" in NZ, or is it still a Dr "Zee"???
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Although I do call Beyonce's husband Jay Zed. Just to annoy my kids, to be honest. They find it extremely irritating. But then, that's what dads are for.Conway wrote:Excellent, that was my thinking too. Thank you.Danger Mouse wrote:I'd go Zee, because it just sounds right. Also, when they're studying for their exams, I like to play them Jesus and Mary Chain songs. At volume. Until they come and yell at me to turn it down. Or the neighbours phone.Danger Mouse wrote:Excellent parenting, that is indeed one of the primary functions of being a dadConway wrote:Although I do call Beyonce's husband Jay Zed.
