Now I've sold the Dr Z cab I'm looking at my two 1x12 cabs and thinking about how they could be wired to be used together. Presently one has a 16 ohm G12H-30 Anniversary but I can swap that for an 8 ohm Creamback 65, thereby matching the 8 ohm WGS 12 65B in the Two Rock. However, Two Rock wire their cabs reverse polarity for some reason.
Guessing I can't run two cabs off one amp if one of them is reverse polarity? If I reverse the wires in the Two Rock cab will that have any implications for the amp that I should be aware of?
On a separate note I read that 65Amps offer an alnico blue as an upgrade on the G12H-30. Thinking I'd like to get one to put in the mix somewhere.
And, yes, yes.... I don't need reminding this is all meaningless for a guy that doesn't gig but I still want to sort it out. Cheers.

Re: Speaker impedance / polarity question
You can reverse the polarity in the 2 rock cab, it won't change anything.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Thanks. Why the f'k would they routinely do that? Have it back-to-front?sizzlingbadger wrote:You can reverse the polarity in the 2 rock cab, it won't change anything.

Make sure that you have some weird out of phase experience?
