Amp repair in Wellington - Suggestions

Post by Dano_NZ »

Guys any suggestions here? Have a noisey Carr Rambler reverb, that does actually reverb anymore. Tried Rectified Amps, however he's taking a hiatus. Thanks

Have you tried just replacing the reverb valve ?
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Don't go there...

Seriously, just wait for Jaret - he's worth it.

Hey thanks guys, just did a tube swap (embarrassingly simple) all good again. Cranked it with the wife out shopping. Ears ringing, sounds awesome.

This thread will still be relevant to me if I can't sort the volume issues on my Line 6 HD100.

Always had a hankering for building a tube amp and then realise soldering guitars is about my limit. Always feel as though I need 3-4 hands to hold everything together.
