That makes me wonder though, when it comes to amps, what do insurance pay out for? If the kids dropped a cup of water on it? Dampness affecting the electronics? Cats pissing on it?
The excess would probably be more than the replacements some people are suggesting.

The excess might be, but the payout would get into a different bracket...

Disclaimer: I'm not seriously considering knobbling my amp for the insurance money.
