I bought an used Mesa 2:90 power amp for $1200 a few years ago. My used Fryette 2/90/2 was about $1300.

A Carvin TS100 sold for $300 a few weeks ago.
Amps:
Soldano SLO100 x2 | Wizard MC1 & MC2 | Diezel Herbert
Fryette Pittbull CL | Marshall 2203KK | Krank Rev 50 | Mesa Mark 2A

Rack stuff:
VHT/Fryette GP3, GP/DI & 2/90/2 | Peters FSM/Chimera
Verellen Meatsmoke | Synergy SYN1 | Mesa Studio

Old Peavey and Marshall power amps pop up every now and then. Usually around the $500 mark.

Man good score on the 2/90/2! Maybe something like that will pop in the meantime.

If you know of a decent valve power amp that isn't a guitar head or combo that's cheaper than $1200 I'd love to know :)
Fellow forumite Tonemaker used to run a Samson poweramp, not a lot of coin & worked great in a W/D/W set up.
Keep your eyes peeled for one of those.

Dedicated power-amps aren't that common on the ground so I feel your pain.

Matrix stuff & Fryette power-amps like 2/50/2 & 2/90/2 are the industry standard.
However you can't go wrong with the Fryette Powerstation 2.
It will tick so many boxes now & in the future.

Fryette for the win

Indeed! There's a lot of 'extras' than can be done with it. Like apparently it's one of the better attenuators out there. Even if my Kemper dreams come true, getting a 100watt head will be slim, but ya never know!
