You mean the Trademark series amps? I've used one at a jam thing once, it was really good. Nice OD and plenty loud. Would be a great gigging amp

Re: Tech 21?
I'd say for a gigging guitarist they are awesome, 9/10 fabulous. Nice clean , nice OD, nice reverb and a volume boost. I could play a whole gig with one and a delay pedal. From memory the effects loop is foot switchable, so conceivably you could velcro a delay pedal in the back, and just have one footswitch out front to cover all the basic tones.
However that would be a very un-corksniffery rig

Re: Tech 21?
I had a Tech 21 Flyrig and if they are anything to go buy, I would think the amps based on same tech would be pretty damn good, especially good value for money.

Re: Tech 21?
Never played one but they had a great reputation back in the day.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Re: Tech 21?
The amp is great and the solo boost at the end of the chain is great. I really regret selling mine on, I realised later the pickups I had put in my guitar were my tone issue, the amp was fine. I saw one for $500 ish on trademe a while ago which is a bargain.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

Re: Tech 21?
Never came across any of their amps anywhere, but the 'Fly Rig' pedals they do are great. Especially the Kotzen one.

I used to have the smaller trademark (10?). Nice amp, with no frills but good basic tone platform. Great for practicing.

Re: Tech 21?
Tech 21 Trademark were then, and still are now a great amp through and through. I USED to call them the only SS amp I'd ever consider doing a gig with.
